Abstract

PT. ABC is a manufacturing company that produces hospital equipment. This company started the production of hospital equipment with a production capacity of 20 items per month and within 3 years continued to increase to 60 items. In the process of making hospital equipment using a robot welding machine. The main problem is that there are often jams in the robot welding machine, causing productivity to decrease so that the fulfillment of the company's targets is not met. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the robot welding machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The results of the study showed that the OEE value for one month starting from November 1, 2023 - November 30, 2023 was 26%, this value is far below the world standard which has been set at 85%. The low OEE value is caused by availability, performance, and quality rate factors
